I have been teaching through private tuition since 2016, helping students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 build a strong understanding of mathematics and improve their academic performance. Over the years, I have also taught A-Level Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, giving me experience with both secondary and higher secondary curricula. My teaching approach focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas. I believe that once students understand the "why" behind a topic, solving problems becomes much easier. I explain difficult concepts using simple methods, real-life examples, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques. For topics where calculators are permitted, I also teach students how to use scientific calculators efficiently and correctly. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style according to the student's strengths, weaknesses, and pace of learning. I regularly prepare practice questions, revision materials, and mock tests to monitor progress and help students prepare confidently for examinations. Throughout my tutoring journey, I have taught more than 15 students through one-to-one tuition. Feedback from both students and parents highlights improvements in conceptual understanding, confidence, examination performance, and study habits.
