I have taught many students from my community, and one recurring thing they tell me is that they rarely forget what I teach. I have a somewhat unorthodox way of teaching. I first make my students try on their own, and only if they fail twice do I step in with the answer. I believe this helps them build a strong foundation for future studies and improves their problem-solving skills.
